Danish home furnishing retailer Jysk is to open its latest outlet in Blackpool, Cork.

Jysk Limited has been granted planning permission by Cork City Council to revamp a unit in the Blackpool Retail Park.

The plan proposes the conversion of Unit 2 Block B in the retail park. It also proposes changing the use of first-floor level storage areas to retail areas.

Ancillary office areas are to be transformed into storage areas, and internal alterations on the first floor will provide circulation corridors. Further changes are proposed to internal staircases, lifts and at other parts of the building.
