The ieBusiness Podcast meets Shayne Murphy, founder of SDM Performance

The ieBusiness Podcast speaks to Shayne Murphy.

Wanting to work at the elite level of sports science, Shayne Murphy took a leaf from Roy Keane's book as a young man and wrote to every club in the Premier League asking for a role.

One club answered and Shayne, from Rathcormac in Cork, went on to spend more than a decade in England and Scotland working for the world's top clubs including Liverpool and Manchester City.

Still working with top clubs he returned to Ireland in recent years to found ADM Performance where is applying his learnings in sport to the business world.

In this episode of the Irish Examiner’s ieBusiness Podcast, in association with PwC, he spoke of the importance of the overall aim and direction of an organisation.

Shayne joins the list of other guests on this season of The ieBusiness Podcast which delves into the journeys of Irish business leaders who have achieved remarkable success on the global stage.

Each episode will feature an in-depth interview with a different leader, exploring their background, career trajectory, key challenges, and insights into the business world in their adopted country.
