Watch: Cork's first Christmas parade
Thousands turned out for the first Corkmas Parade.
The Winter Fairytale procession, organised by Cork City Council was created by the national arts organisation LUXe and marks the start of the festive season in the city.
Santa made an appearance to help turn on the city's Christmas lights, driven on a sleigh by the Cork Fire Brigade.
