For your convenience, here's what happened across Munster as we learned who'd progress.

Group 1 

John The Baptist Community School 0-23 CBC Cork 2-19

Ten points from Eoghan O'Shea maintained CBC's perfect Harty Cup start and secured a bye to the quarter-finals as Group 1 table-toppers.

Goals in either half from Michael Brosnan and Cillian Murray proved the vital scores while the Hospital outfit learned later that they'd advance.

Rice College 1-18 Doon 1-15

Rice College Ennis were the side to come through this tussle but there was little on the line at UL on Wednesday.

Both teams were effectively already out of the competition and this game failed to spark despite admirable efforts from the resepctive teams.

Group 2 

Ardscoil Rís 9-23 Coláiste Choilm 2-13

A ruthless Ardscoil Rís finished top of group 2 following their third victory of the competition against Coláiste Choilm Ballincollig.

Castletroy College 1-10 Our Lady's Templemore 0-16 

With a place in the knockout stages at stake, this was a do or die contest, which developed into a shoot-out between Our Lady’s Paudie O’Shea and Castletroy’s Matthew Fitzgerald

Group 3 

Charleville 4-16 St Jospeh's Tulla 1-23 

A Seán Bresnan-inspired Charleville CBS finished their campaign with a hard-fought victory over St. Joseph’s of Tulla to dump the Clare school out of the competition.  The result also guarantees Cashel Community Schools safe passage, ahead of their meeting next Tuesday, with Blackwater Community School of Lismore.

Group 4 

CBC Midleton 6-20 St Francis College Rochestown 0-13 

Six second-half goals ensured Midleton CBS got the sizeable win they needed against St Francis College Rochestown to snatch top-spot from Nenagh CBS in Group 4 of the TUS Dr Harty Cup.

Gaelcholáiste Mhuire an Mhainistir Thuaigh 0-22 St Colman's 0-20 

The AG only needed a draw against St Colman's but the city side pulled away in injury time to claim a big win. 

The northsiders came from behind and points in the 64th and 65th minute from Callum Ó Cofaigh eventually swung the pendulum their way.

St Flannan's 3-29 Tralee CBS 0-7 

The Clare kingpins showed no mercy at Ballyagran against the newcomers to ensure they finished top of Group 6.
