Herbal cannabis worth €603,000 has been seized by Revenue officers at Dublin Airport.

On Monday, 30.2kgs of the illegal drugs were discovered in vacuum sealed packages in a man's bag.

He had disembarked a flight from Dubai.

The man, aged in his 40s, was arrested by gardaí under Section 2 of the Criminal Justice (Drug Trafficking) Act, 1996.

He has since appeared before the courts, and investigations are ongoing.
