Gardaí investigating fatal hit-and-run make appeal to motorcyclist who passed scene

Gardaí are seeking to identify the driver of a motorcycle in connection with the fatal hit-and-run that occurred in Co Kildare last month.
The collision, which involved a vehicle and a pedestrian, occurred on the R403 in Blackwood near Robertstown at approximately 12.30am on November 10.
A 16-year-old pedestrian was killed as a result of the crash.
Gardaí continue to appeal for witnesses to come forward, and in particular are seeking to identify the driver of a motorcycle who is understood to have passed the scene of the incident.
It is believed the motorcyclist was travelling along the R403 from Prosperous to Allenwood.
Any road users who were travelling in the vicinity of Prosperous, Allenwood, Carbury and Robertstown between 11.30pm on Saturday, November 9, 2024, and 3.30am on Sunday, November 10, 2024, and who may have camera footage (including dash cam) is asked to make this available to investigating gardaí.

"Investigations are ongoing," a Garda spokesperson said.
Last month, a man in his 40s was charged in connection with the collision.
