Cork’s own Cian Ducrot will play a hometown gig next summer when the Passage West singer will take to the stage of Live at the Marquee in July.
Ducrot shot to fame when his debut album, Victory, earned number one spots in both Ireland and the UK, as he amassed 801 billion streams and played ever-bigger shows across the world.
Tracks from Victory received further plaudits including two UK Top 20 hits - the Platinum-certified ‘All For You’ and the Gold-certified ‘I’ll Be Waiting’ - winning the RTÉ Choice Music Prize Irish Song of the Year.
Before touring North America as special guest to Calum Scott, Ducrot played to 36,000 people at Musgrave Park in Cork and in Dublin.
He has also introduced a handful of new tracks in the shape of ‘Here It Is’, ‘something i can’t afford’ and, most recently, ‘Can’t Even Hate You’ - and recently received his recent first Grammy nomination as the co-writer of SZA’s smash hit ‘Saturn’.
Tickets for Ducrot’s homecoming will be on sale on Thursday, December 12 at 9am on Ticketmaster.

Meanwhile, the Corrs announced an open-air show in Musgrave Park on Friday, June 6.
Having sold over 40 million records, the siblings Andrea, Sharon, Caroline and Jim’s music is packed with “passion and grace and fire and desire” (Get To The Front), whether it is hit singles such as ‘Runaway’, ‘What Can I Do’ and ‘So Young’ or their classic tunes like ‘Dreams’ or ‘Little Wing’.
Special guest Imelda May and additional support from Natalie Imbruglia will also play on the night.
Tickets from €59.90 to €69.90, subject to Ticketmaster charge, go on sale this Friday at 9am via Ticketmaster.ie.
Mastercard cardholders have special access to presale tickets in Ireland starting from Wednesday December 11 at 9am, until December 13 at 9am.
