Watch: Frenzy as Gerry Hutch runs from media at RDS after missing out on Dáil seat
A scrum of security and media followed Gerry 'The Monk' Hutch out of the RDS count centre in Dublin after he missed out on a seat in the 2024 election.
Mr Hutch was beaten to the final seat in Dublin Central by Labour's Marie Sherlock.
The veteran criminal ran through the car park of the RDS count centre being pursued by members of the media before turning onto the main road and continuing to run away.
